Shedding Tears for the Dead
So I woke up this morning to my dad screaming at me through the floor telling my to turn my televison on. Being lethargic and slow in the morning it took me a while to start sitting up. Apparently it was to long for my dad because he came down to my room, turned my television on and told me to watch the news. Our nation was attacked by an unknown terrorist force today. The world trade center is no longer in existance. Both towers had seperate Boeing Jets crash into them knocking them to the ground. On top of that another boeing jet crashed into the pentagon. To top it off a final boeing jet crash landed somewhere in Indiana. What the fuck is wrong with people. What the hell makes them hate our nation so much that they have to kill thousands upon thousands of people in such a cowardly way. I think we need to nuke the shit out of the middle east until we know that all the terrorist forces there are no longer in existance. I've been trying to get ahold of my good friend that lives in NY all day to no avail. If she's dead I'll cry. Those of you that know me, know that I don't ever cry. Hey, I respect what you said, but I'll never take anything to heart that's said to me from a person that is to afraid to put their name behind what they have to say. You say that it's stupid high school bullshit, yet you don't understand that what I said was out of anger, it was spur of the moment. I no longer believer that we need to nuke the middle east. Hell I think that would be the biggest mistake that we could make as a nation. regardless of that I still believe that we need to take military action. It's pacifist fucks like you that need to get some balls and stand up for you nation. In regards to the years or training that they went through (they being the terrorists) I couldn't give two shits about that. So what, they had some talent, their remaining factions need to be destroyed and there needs to be military stand from all the nations in the world against terrorism. "It's pacifist fucks like you that need to get some balls and stand up for you nation."im not a pacifist. im an anarchist. its not my nation. i dont think the flag should be waved or song sung. america isnt here for me to cry over its here for me to laugh at. i dont approve of the killing..they werent americans to me. just people. i dont think its just bad thousands of people died...thousands die everyday from americas actions...i think its tragic in the truly poetic meaning of the word that everyone died thinking theyd wake up in the morning and go back to work. they worked their lives away and died in the office. so many people do that. just not with the fire and tears..but anyway...you say you dont care if they were clever or whatnot cuz damn them all they were terrorists...do you realize we do the exact same thing? but when we do it we call it missions, victory, military actions in the middle east...but when other countries do it its terrorism. how many countries out there do you suppose see us as terrorist? the la times this sunday had an article about special forces it said at any given time during TIMES OF PEACE there are over 3000 special forces soldiers in over 70 countries doing more then 150 missons a week. the majority of these mission are not reported...see man? we do the same thing. we blow up building and dont annouce it we kill civilians who work at wherehouses that ship guns without them knowing it..war against terrorism...it should be the war against apathy...you would call me apathetic...i see a fucked up country and i wont support it...you see a building blown up in a fucked up country and people killed...and you want to go kill people youve never met without thinking about why...to me thats apathy.
It takes more balls to stand up in a nation of angry, murderous, ignorant people and profess your distaste for the country they live in. Why would I stand up for a country whose institutions I despise? I have absolutely NO respect for this nation or its policies, and I absolutely REFUSE to go across seas and murder people on the grounds that if I don't, I will be jailed. I would if I could, believe me. I've had the idea of moving to Canada for a good while now. Just recently I've been seriously considering a move up there. Now this happens. Canada has said they will help the U.S. with keeping draft dodgers inside the country. Last night my room mate looked up information on gaining citizenship. What we learned was that no new citizenships will be given to anyone but full time students working toward a high profile degree. We are trapped here. So you see, this "Love it or leave it" talk is bullshit.
Have you tried England? Or if you want the most stable economy in the world, you could try Ireland, They're hungry for people to come and work there. It could be a great new beginnning for you.XXX sorrow XXX
